RCIA - If you are interested in becoming a Catholic, then come and join us and get acquainted and learn more about the Catholic Faith. RCIA meet in the social hall from 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. For additional information or questions, please contact Ruth Applegate at 404 819-8309.

Bible & Faith Sharing - Bible Study is back in session. We meet every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in room 6. We will discuss "Discovering the Depth of God's Love", mercy and forgivenss in scripture. Everyone is invited to join us. Please bring your Bible!!

Time, Talent & Treasure Commitment Sunday - October 25, 2009. Our annual Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure drive will take place the last Sunday in October. Ministry leaders and anyone who would like to help on Sign Up Sunday is invited to join us in the nave at 9:15 a.m. this Sunday for a planning meeting.

Ministry and Organization Leaders Meeting - Sunday, September 20th at 9:15 a.m. in the nave. A meeting for all ministry and organization leaders and anyone who would like to get more involved. Please contact Debbie Rogers for additional information.

Upcoming Baptism Classes - To schedule a baptism, you must attend one of the baptism preparation classes. Parents and godparents must register in the parish office to attend. Baptisms will be scheduled after you have attended the class and turned in the necessary paperwork. Next scheduled classes:

Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m.
Sunday, November 22 at noon
Saturday, December 19 at 2 p.m.
and at 7:25 p.m. en espanol

Walk for Life, September 26th. Join Paulding Pregnancy Services (PPS) from 10 - 11 a.m. in raising money and awareness for a cause that kills more Americans each year than heart disease and cancer combined: abortion. The walk is open to anyone who would like to support the work of PPS by standing up for the sanctity of human life at all ages and stages. No graphic pictures or signs. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Dallas First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas. The Walk is a leisurely two miles - strollers are welcome. Catholic Charities 8th Annual Scott's Run. Please join and support Catholic Charities at this year's 8th annual Scott's Run, a 5k and 1 mile event on Saturday, October 3rd at Chastain Park at 9 a.m. Registration starts at 7 a.m. This fundraiser benefits the Catholic Charities' Children Programs. Stay fit and have fun at our race -- fun for the whole family, for life teen groups and all parish members. The Blessing of the Animals, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, will take place on Saturday, October 3rd at 9 a.m. in our front parking area. For everyone's safety please be sure your pets are properly leashed or caged.
